Middle-Earth: Ultimate Collector’s Edition 4K Ultra HD Review

The Middle-Earth: Ultimate Collector’s Edition set is a nice looking collection and a unique packaging that looks good on a bookshelf. The new features are fine and all and glad all of the commentaries are there, but disappointing that none of the extensive supplements were ported over.

The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy 4K Ultra HD Review

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy is still an incredible feet all these years later and even though I have watched it more than few times, it holds up exceptionally well (side for a couple CGI moments that look off) with a wonderful ensemble cast.

War of the Worlds 4K Ultra HD Review

War of the Worlds certainly is not top shelf Steven Spielberg and generally I didn’t like it quite as much as I did 15 years ago, however I will say the visual effects mostly held up and I can’t say I was ever bored.

Annabelle: Creation BD + Screen Caps

Annabelle: Creation, in spite of its flaws, was a pleasant surprise considering the movie is a prequel of another prequel. The film fits in nicely with the two Conjuring films and might even get me to watch the first Annabelle, a movie I really didn’t care much for.

I, Frankenstein Blu-ray Review

I, Frankenstein is not only dumb movie but worse of all, takes itself far too seriously so you take something that could’ve been a fun little ride into a dark and dank film that instead is forgettable in nearly every regard save for Bill Nighy who is perhaps the only good thing in this mess of a film.
