For Richer or Poorer is a mid/late 1990s adventure-comedy starring Tim Allen and Kirstie Alley and has its moments though some of the humor doesn’t always land. This comes to Blu-ray courtesy of Mill Creek Entertainment.
Amos & Andrew is kind of a lost comedy from the 1990s (akin to Quick Change and Another Stakeout) and although it’s not hilarious, it is a lot of fun to watch two normally over-the-top actors playing against one another in Nicolas Cage and Samuel L. Jackson and add in Dabney Coleman and it’s rather entertaining.
Strange Invaders is by no means great but co-writer/director Michael Laughlin does achieve its attempt at nostalgia alien science-fiction and the performances from the adequate cast isn’t bad either. The Blu-ray released through Screen Archives looks and sounds good though the features have much to be desired.
Maniac Cop 2 debuts on Blu-ray courtesy of Blue Underground, a real treat for horror fans to finally get proper audio and video transfers to go along with a well-packed selection of bonus features.
