Glass isn’t great and doesn’t exactly live up to the potential set forth by the twist ending of Split. That being said, there is some entertainment value and all in all was at the very least a satisfying film featuring a couple good performances, particularly McAvoy and Jackson.
Split is a well done, highly suspense-filled psychological thriller from M. Night Shyamalan who seems to have returned to form; though not without the incredible performance(s) from James McAvoy who I really hope is remembered come awards season.
The Visit isn’t a bad movie but any stretch and certainly M. Night’s best offering in some time but by the same token, it employs the tired found footage style and although there are some creepy moments, as a whole, it’s not anything memorable. The performances especially that of Olivia DeJonge, are decent enough.
