The Invisible Man 4K Ultra HD & Blu-ray Review

The Invisible Man is a surprisingly well done update to a classic horror icon and a step in the right direction for Universal’s planned monster reboots and Elisabeth Moss is perfect in the lead and almost solely carries a film.

Upgrade Blu-ray Review + Screen Caps

Upgrade was one of the better surprise sci-fi movies of 2018 and although I can’t rank it up there with the sometimes equally disturbing, and cautionary, Ex Machina, I still enjoyed the hell out of it and by Logan Marshall-Green’s performance.

Insidious: The Last Key Blu-ray Review

Insidious: The Last Key is by no means terrible but just another ho-hum and inoffensively bland entry in a franchise that at its height were merely okay, but is highlighted by Lin Shaye being a badass once again.

Review: Insidious Chapter 3 BD + Screen Caps

Insidious: Chapter 3 is a competently well made flick with some good scares and decent performances from the main cast with Lin Shaye being a welcome member getting more back story for her character. The Blu-ray released by Sony is rather basic with good video/audio transfers and a forgettable selection of bonus material.

Crush Blu-ray Review

Crush was surprising in the fact that it didn’t completely stink especially compared with many other direct-to-video flicks that have come before. The plot is a slow in developing but with some decent charisma from Lucas Till, Crystal Reed and Sarah Bolger, it at least kept my attention for the duration.
