The Invisible Man is a surprisingly well done update to a classic horror icon and a step in the right direction for Universal’s planned monster reboots and Elisabeth Moss is perfect in the lead and almost solely carries a film.
Insidious: Chapter 3 is a competently well made flick with some good scares and decent performances from the main cast with Lin Shaye being a welcome member getting more back story for her character. The Blu-ray released by Sony is rather basic with good video/audio transfers and a forgettable selection of bonus material.
Crush was surprising in the fact that it didn’t completely stink especially compared with many other direct-to-video flicks that have come before. The plot is a slow in developing but with some decent charisma from Lucas Till, Crystal Reed and Sarah Bolger, it at least kept my attention for the duration.
