Love Actually is just an all around fun, charming and heartwarming romantic-comedy-drama that features an amazing ensemble cast and even though I’ve seen this numerous times, it still doesn’t fail to make me smile.

The Truman Show is a great movie and has staying power in the age we live in and features a wonderful performance from Jim Carrey showing his range and ability to do dramatic roles as well as comedy.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows might’ve been an ever-so-slight improvement over its predecessor but that’s not saying a whole lot. It’s still too Bayish for my taste and the inordinate amount of visual effects makes it tiring, though the fan service at least makes it a tolerable enough experience.
Mr. Holmes isn’t great but it’s certainly watchable especially for Ian McKellen’s performance as the tragically aging Sherlock Holmes who is losing his memory. Not sure if I’ll ever revisit the film anytime soon yet at the same time it’s got just enough to make it worth a Redbox or Netflix rental before making the investment of purchasing.
