Bound: The Criterion Collection 4K Ultra HD & Blu-ray Review

Bound is still my favorite of The Wachowskis movies, even above The Matrix, which itself has also aged quite well. This one has two amazing performances from Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon and Joe Pantoliano for his part was wonderfully chaotic.

Cult of Chucky BD + Screen Caps

Cult of Chucky is an entertaining little entry into the franchise and although I don’t think it’s some brilliant horror flick or anything, the blending of it with dark humor worked and so I did find myself engaged.

Review: Embrace of the Vampire (1995) BD + Screen Caps

Embrace of the Vampire (1995) is simply a bad movie made only for a child star in Alyssa Milano trying to strip (figuratively and literally) that persona. The story is lacking, and the performances are bland and the movie as a whole is downright boring leading to something with nothing to offer (even Ms. Milano’s breasts aren’t worth the sludge you have to wade through).
