Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga isn’t a complete misfire as there are some good moments but as great of a character that Furiosa was in Mad Max: Fury Road, I would’ve preferred a sequel rather than this prequel and maybe coming out sooner.

The Northman Blu-ray Review

There’s no doubt Robert Eggers is a talented filmmaker and while I can appreciate some of the technical achievements with bringing a Viking lore to life, and the entire cast giving solid performances, I wasn’t entirely captured by the story and in the end, despite some wonderful visuals, found this to be fairly forgettable.

Glass 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray Review

Glass isn’t great and doesn’t exactly live up to the potential set forth by the twist ending of Split. That being said, there is some entertainment value and all in all was at the very least a satisfying film featuring a couple good performances, particularly McAvoy and Jackson.

Marrowbone 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray Review + BD Screen Caps

Marrowbone is an imperfect but effective enough horror-thriller that features some good performances, primarily from George MacKay and Anya Taylor-Joy, and an effective and visceral haunting atmosphere, though the film does lack character development.

Split is a well done, highly suspense-filled psychological thriller from M. Night Shyamalan who seems to have returned to form; though not without the incredible performance(s) from James McAvoy who I really hope is remembered come awards season.
