Gloria is a well done even sweet crime-drama where you can see why Gena Rowlands earned her Best Actress Academy Award nomination and the young John Adames, in his one and only role, does a nice job.

Truth or Dare DVD Review
Truth or Dare is a really ridiculous game to make into a horror movie to begin with, but having it done twice is so dumb. That being said, and perhaps I’m grading on a curve comparing it to the other movie, I found this one passably entertaining.

Bound Blu-ray Review
Bound is still my favorite of The Wachowskis movies, even above The Matrix, which itself has also aged quite well. This one has two amazing performances from Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon and Joe Pantoliano for his part was wonderfully chaotic.

Brainscan is a fun 1990s horror-comedy starring Edward Furlong still on fire post Terminator 2, and has elements of The Nightmare on Elm Street, even if the writing or acting isn’t the best.

Submission had plenty of potential to be great but falters some on the story front, albeit it could be because of the source material and how it was adapted, however is more than worthy of a rental if only for the performances by both Tucci and Timlin.

The House of the Dead was originally released, for some odd reason, as Alien Zone and as such really confused plenty of people.
