Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman is a charming show that probably newer generations may not appreciate as it has quintessential 1990s style and is cheesy, but I had a lot of fun re-watching with Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher having great chemistry.
The Drew Carey Show: The Complete Series was a successful sitcom from 1995 through 2004 and is a classic format with Drew Carey, like Jerry Seinfeld before him, portrays a version of himself. The series set is a great compilation put together for the first time at a reasonable price.
Trap is the latest thriller from M. Night Shyamalan and stars Josh Hartnett, Seleka Night and Alison Pill. The 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray were released on November 5, 2024.
The Searchers is a great western-drama from the renowned John Wayne pairing up with acclaimed director John Ford. While I’m not the biggest fan of the western genre with few exceptions, this one still a great drama that is well worth checking out.
No Country for Old Men is certainly a solid western-drama that features tremendous performances by Tommy Lee Jones and Javier Bardem, the latter especially making for a quiet but nevertheless menacing villain. That said, this probably being my third viewing, it’s not one that entirely gripped me.
Classified is a middling thriller that stars Aaron Eckhart, Abigail Breslin and Tim Roth. The DVD was released November 5th.
Captain Planet and the Planteers arrives on DVD courtesy of Warner Bros. Entertainment and includes The Nee Adventures of Captain Planet, though there are no features.

Hush is a simple but all around entertaining home invasion thriller featuring two great performances from Kate Siegel and John Gallagher Jr. This “Collector’s Edition” release from Shout Factory includes a good amount of features as well as a new “Shush Cut”.
The Complete Thin Man Collection brings together all the classic movies (The Thin Man, After the Thin Man, Another Thin Man, Shadow of the Thin Man, The Thin Man Goes Home and Song of the Thin Man) in one nice package.
I Love Lucy: The Complete Series debuts on Blu-ray through Paramount program featuring a plethora of bonus features.
Curb Your Enthusiasm comes to DVD from Warner Bros. and brings together all 12 seasons and plentiful amount of features including commentaries, featurettes, deleted scenes and gag reels.
I won’t go as far and say Tag was some sort of classic comedy in the making and the character development is on the thin side, yet I did manage to consistently laugh from beginning to end and did genuinely enjoy the ensemble cast.
In time for the political season and presidential election comes The West Wing: The Complete Series arriving on Blu-ray from Warner Bros. and includes episode commentaries, featurettes, unaired scenes and gag reels.
