Alita: Battle Angel is a flawed sci-fi action-adventure flick that might not really break new ground in terms of the story or even the effects work, even so I found it pretty entertaining.
“Game of Thrones”: The Complete Third Season is once more great culminating in one of the more memorable episodes in television history whether or not you’re a fan of George R.R. Martin’s novels (never read them myself). Now, as far as this “Limited Edition” release is concerned, it’s a tough call on the worthiness of a double dip; unless you can unload your current set.
Deadpool takes a conventional plot and turns it into one of the more unconventional superhero, yet anti-superhero, movies to come out, going so far to make fun of the genre. That said, the villain is bland and forgettable and my second viewing wasn’t as good as the first, though at the end of the day, it’s still a vastly entertaining film.
There’s really no reason for The Transporter Refueled to exist, let alone one without Jason Statham starring. The writing is bad, the action sequences weren’t well directed and came across more as a commercial for Audi, and the performance from Ed Skrein does not make for a fun or kick ass action hero.
