Godzilla vs. Biollante was released back in 1989 and was part of a resurgence for the giant lizard. This Criterion Collection release offers up great video and audio transfers to go along with some solid bonus features.
Juror #2 may not be the highlight from Clint Eastwood as a directory, however it is a perfectly watchable legal drama with decent enough performances.
The Searchers is a great western-drama from the renowned John Wayne pairing up with acclaimed director John Ford. While I’m not the biggest fan of the western genre with few exceptions, this one still a great drama that is well worth checking out.
No Country for Old Men is certainly a solid western-drama that features tremendous performances by Tommy Lee Jones and Javier Bardem, the latter especially making for a quiet but nevertheless menacing villain. That said, this probably being my third viewing, it’s not one that entirely gripped me.

Hush is a simple but all around entertaining home invasion thriller featuring two great performances from Kate Siegel and John Gallagher Jr. This “Collector’s Edition” release from Shout Factory includes a good amount of features as well as a new “Shush Cut”.
The Complete Thin Man Collection brings together all the classic movies (The Thin Man, After the Thin Man, Another Thin Man, Shadow of the Thin Man, The Thin Man Goes Home and Song of the Thin Man) in one nice package.
I Love Lucy: The Complete Series debuts on Blu-ray through Paramount program featuring a plethora of bonus features.
In time for the political season and presidential election comes The West Wing: The Complete Series arriving on Blu-ray from Warner Bros. and includes episode commentaries, featurettes, unaired scenes and gag reels.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit needs to be commended for staying on the air for an astounding 25 seasons and while I don’t find this a must-watch series, the acting at least was passable and some compelling stories.
Icons Unearthed: Fast & Furious is the third release in the VICE series and comes to Blu-ray from Mill Creek Entertainment and features interviews Tyrese Gibson, Lucas Black and others.
Vikings: Valhalla arrives on Blu-ray and DVD on August 27th through MGM. The series stars Sam Corlett, Frida Gustavsson, Leo Suter and Bradley Freegard.
Succession: The Complete Series arrives on Blu-ray on August 27th from Warner Bros. and all of the featurettes from the individual season releases are ported over.
