Cars 3 is a fine conclusion to what I have found to be a lackluster series for Disney/Pixar that really shouldn’t have been a series to begin with. But as it is, and outside of the ridiculous and contrived finale, I did find this mostly entertaining.

Jingle All the Way 2 is another unfunny “comedic” vehicle for Larry the Cable Guy to do this schtick and I hated just about every minute of this movie. Simply put, it’s another pointless DTV movie that’s not in the least bit entertaining and I cannot stress enough to pass this one by, if only to save your soul.

Cars is hardly Pixar’s best film, not even in the top 5, but there’s some magic to it and you can’t go wrong with the voice talent of Paul Newman, the perfect choice for the role. This 3D Blu-ray release by Disney basically has the same content as the original releases although the audio does get a nice upgrade.

Tooth Fairy 2 sadly matched my already low expectations. How you will react all depends on whether or not you like Larry the Cable Guy; I didn’t so obviously this film was less than enthralling or funny. The Blu-ray at least has serviceable video and audio transfers so not all is lost. If you have kids then maybe its worth it otherwise just pass it on by.

Cars 2 is proof that no studio is perfect and they all have missteps and hopefully this will be Pixar’s only one for the next 10 years. When it comes to the movie itself, there is some charming moments but they are too far and between and usually interrupted by Mater’s annoying persona.
