Fury isn’t the best war drama around, not even in the top 5, but it’s still well made and features a great cast, with Brad Pitt delivering a fine performance (one of his best in some time), that elevates the writing while Ayer’s direction keeps the pacing just right. The Blu-ray released by Sony has excellent video/audio transfers while the bonus material is quasi in-depth with 50+ minutes of deleted/extended scenes.

Sweetwater is actually not a bad little western/thriller featuring a well-rounded story and, especially, a fantastic crew headlined by January Jones, Ed Harris and Jason Isaacs who each give near-phenomenal performances. The Blu-ray released by Arc Entertainment has an excellent video transfer, adequate if not disappointing audio and forgettable set of features.

Although the Harry Potter Wizard’s Collection is quite expensive ($345 on Amazon as of this writing), for fans of the series, it might be worth it. I know fans will have already owned it but there might be enough here to make it worth your while. As for the set itself, there’s an enormous amount of features including some new featurettes which expands on the behind-the-scenes world and how the franchise was made.

To say the least, Abduction is not a very good movie, the acting from Lautner is pretty bad (and at best just OK) while the talented supporting cast can’t overcome a lame script and overwrought storyline. The action sequences are all fairly average but at the same time I at least found some of it to be entertaining even when things get bad.

Green Lantern: Emerald Knights is a good addition to the DC Universe line and while it isn’t anything special, I did like how they laid the story out in a different way (compared with what they did with Batman: Gotham Knight) and the voice talent was also good with fans getting to at least hear what Nathan Fillion would sound like in the lead role.
