Mortal Kombat (2021) 4K Ultra HD & Blu-ray Review

Mortal Kombat isn’t a terrible movie but kind of a typical one in the video game to film adaptation realm. I did appreciate the use of violence copying the video games but the story isn’t great and the acting to be average at best, however Josh Lawson does steal the show.

Supergirl: The Complete Fifth Season Blu-ray Review

Supergirl: The Complete Fifth Season still has similar struggles from its previous season with the writing and storytelling, and similar troubles to the later seasons of Arrow, but I still like Melissa Benoist in the role.

Supergirl: The Complete Fourth Season Blu-ray Review

Supergirl: The Complete Fourth Season might on the heavy-handed side in its dealings with current events, but even so the performances for the most part have been respectable especially from Melissa Benoist who embodies the role so well.

“Supergirl”: The Complete First Season has its issues, especially early on, yet as the season wore on, the writing got better, particularly the dialogue. But from beginning to end, the casting was pitch perfect starting with Melissa Benoist who is both beautiful and charismatic to pull off a character like Supergirl/Kara.

Review: Adulterers DVD

Adulterers is a bit heavy-handed and the writing, dialogue specifically, wasn’t the best, but it has its moments with some respectable performances from Sean Faris and a decent, if not unsatisfying, enough twist. The DVD released by RLJ is basic with no bonus material while the audio and video were OK.
