The Return of Swamp Thing is pretty much a sequel-in-name-only and stars Heather Locklear, Louis Jourdan and Dick Durock as the titular character.
Melrose Place: The Complete Series was a drama show that ran from 1992 to 1999 and this set puts together the same discs from the individual releases and includes episode commentaries and featurettes.
I know Firestarter has somewhat of a following, I wasn’t as enthralled with this Stephen King adaptation although the performances by Drew Barrymore and George C. Scott were great.
Uptown Girls is a breezy but nice little comedy featuring pleasant performances by Brittany Murphy and Dakota Fanning to go along with an interesting enough plot. The Blu-ray released through Olive Films has some actual features to go along with the so-so video and audio transfers.
Scary Movie 5 is an ugly, ugly movie even by comparison to #2 and #4 which were easily the worst of the franchise. But even worse so, this “movie” rivals the crap Friedberg/Seltzer continually puts out and those are some truly awful films in their own right. I’m astonished that credited writers David Zucker and Pat Proft didn’t downright file a lawsuit to have their names removed. The Blu-ray unfortunately does have respectable audio/video transfers but the bonus features are unsurprisingly minimal in content.
