Overall, the Friday the 13th: 8 Movie Collection offers the movies under license by Paramount and while it does not include any new features from the Shout Factory box set, if you can get this at a reasonable price, you will get upgraded picture on the first four films.

The Goonies 4K Ultra HD Review

Although I have not fully grasped the cultural influence The Goonies has had over the past 35 years, I still found the movie to be a fun, adventurous romp with one of the better ensemble gathered who had such great chemistry with one another.

The ‘Burbs: Collector’s Edition Blu-ray Review

The ‘Burbs is one fun comedy with a dash of horror that excels primarily due to Tom Hanks’ charms versus anything with the script or even the character. Not sure why I hadn’t seen it before, but the replay value is high.

Review: Tales from the Crypt Presents Bordello of Blood BD + Screen Caps

Tales from the Crypt Presents Bordello of Blood, despite the chaotic and haphazard production, might not be a very good film beginning with questionable casting and so-so acting, even when considering the genre, yet the outcome is a cheesy and semi-enjoyable flick, the kind worthy of a late Saturday night viewing.
