The White Lotus: The Complete Third Season arrives on DVD from Warner Bros. and features a cast that includes Walton Goggins, Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coons, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Rockwell and Jason Isaacs amongst others.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife is a satisfying third film (can even call this a trilogy) and while the fan service was just a tad much, I still enjoyed the film and there was enough there where it stands on its own.
Kin is a nice little drama-science fiction flick but is a victim of a bit of overreaction based on its initial trailer. That said, it is enjoyable enough even when you get a finale that felt like the end of the pilot episode.
Gone Girl is hardly David Fincher’s strongest film and arguably might not be in his top 5, but there’s much to admire in spite of a momentum killing third act from the performances by Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike, the suspension early on and the atmosphere Fincher and company establish.
