SEAL Team is a well made and finely acted series headlined by David Boreanaz who still has the charm to be the lead, as he had demonstrated from the fantasy-horror like Angel to forensics-drama in Bones and now military-action here.

Manson Family Movies DVD Review
Manson Family Movies is an… interesting experiment and quite disturbing at times in just how realistic the video footage looks. Even so, this is the type of “movie” that really only hardcore Manson experts might enjoy as you’re not getting anything in terms of information.

Mayday DVD Review
Mayday is on the line between plain bad-bad and good-bad, with the latter being just enough, especially in the third act, where I would give this a cautionary recommendation.
The Sun is Also a Star DVD Review
No real surprise that I never heard of the novel it’s based upon, The Sun is Also a Star is a fine romance-drama that never manages to impress beyond a scene or two with leads, yet fans of the genre might get more enjoyment out of it.
The Assault DVD Review
Can’t say The Assault was a movie I had high expectations for although I had hoped it at least was a middling action-thriller but alas it was just another poorly made direct-to-video flick.
Vault DVD Review
Vault might’ve been an interesting story, and the acting at least was alright, but it doesn’t really break new ground in the true crime-heist where I’ve pretty much seen this played out in other movies.
Deadsight DVD Review
Deadsight is just another apocalyptic, end-of-the-world, zombie movie with I guess the added measure of starring a main character who is pregnant helping a mysterious blind man around, otherwise this is throwaway horror at best.
The Intruder DVD Review
The Intruder seems like the kind of “old school” thriller that would come out of the 1990s back in the day but nowadays probably would be featured as a Lifetime made-for-TV feature, just with a more recognizable and respectable cast.
Under the Silver Lake DVD Review
Under the Silver Lake is certainly not for everybody and after a great outing with It Follows, this one just didn’t do it for me, rambling with no real direction for over two hours though at least Andrew Garfield wasn’t bad.
Run DVD Review
Run is a religious thriller and that might be giving it too much credit. The acting is downright awful only to be outdone by an even worse screenplay.
Shark Bait: 6 Killer Shark Films DVD Review
I really hate Sharknado and its popularity giving green light to so many terrible copycats that tried to be as tongue-in-cheek but miserably failed. Here we get six of these awful movies that only masochists could truly enjoy.

Save Yourself DVD Review
Save Yourself is a well done horror thriller that’s nothing I’d call incredible but as indie horror goes, it’s really worth a rental (and is currently available for free on Amazon Prime).
2047: Virtual Revolution DVD Review
2047: Virtual Revolution was a surprisingly solid sci-fi action-thriller that does heavily borrow from Blade Runner and even The Matrix, but I had a lot of fun and was thoroughly engaged until the end.

Tsunambee of course was bad but unlike Sharknado and movies like it, there was a certain fun factor but this one was just terrible with nothing positive thing I can say.
