PLOT SYNOPSIS |
| The women of an isolated religious colony reveal a shocking secret about the colony’s men. For years, the men have occasionally drugged the women and then raped them. The truth comes out and the women talk about their new situation. |

Women Talking comes to Blu-ray presented with a (to me anyway) unusual 2.76 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. For the most part the picture looks good with well defined detail throughout while colors are more on the muted side as it was a darkly shot movie in keeping with the tough material. The movie includes a standard but effective DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. Obviously this is a heavily dialogue driven film so the majority of the audio does come from the center channel however there is some okay uses of the front and rear channels for the ambient sounds. |
