PLOT SYNOPSIS |

Desperate for work, a young drifter (CAITLIN CUSTER) applies for a job at the local mortuary on the outskirts of town. There, she meets Montgomery Dark (CLANCY BROWN), an eccentric mortician with more than a few skeletons in his closet. Montgomery chronicles the strange history of the town through a series of twisted tales, each more terrifying than the last. |

There is a fair amount of bonus material starting with an Audio Commentary with the director; 14 Behind-the-Scenes segments covering everything from the Kickstarter campaign, cast and crew, costumes, locations, props, etc.; a few Deleted Scenes (5:57) with Spindell explaining them (non-optional commentary) and last a Photo Gallery. |

| The Mortuary Collection comes to Blu-ray, presented with a (measured) 2.37 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. For the most part the picture looks fine, nothing incredible but certainly passable. Detail is okay particularly on the close-ups while the more distant shots does lose a little focus. Colors were fairly well balanced with black levels appearing stark without being blown out nor losing any of the detail within those scenes. |
AUDIO – 4¼/5 |
| The disc comes with a standard DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track which has some decent depth when it came to the horror elements while dialogue levels come through with good clarity. As with most modern films with at least a respectable budget, this is one is clean, no hints of pops, hisses or other flaws. |
