PLOT SYNOPSIS

Everyday people flip the script on Wall Street and get rich by turning GameStop into one of the world’s hottest companies. In the middle of everything is Keith Gill (PAUL DANO), a regular guy who starts it all by sinking his life savings into the stock. When his social media posts start blowing up, so does his life and the lives of everyone following him. As a stock tip becomes a movement, everyone gets wealthy — until the billionaires (SETH ROGEN) fight back and both sides find their worlds turned upside down.

SPECIAL FEATURES – 3/5

This release comes with a slip cover along with the Digital HD copy and features include an Audio Commentary with Writers & Executive Producers Lauren Schuker Blum & Rebecca Angelo; two featurettes Fat Cats & Roaring Kitty (7:44) and Diamond Hand Enzemble (5:40); and three Deleted and Extended Scenes (2:41).

VIDEO – 4½/5, AUDIO – 4¾/5

Dumb Money covers the short stock on Blu-ray where it’s presented with a 2.39 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. Detail is sharp and well defined as I would expect for a new release with colors showing vibrancy given the tone of the comedy-drama.

The disc includes a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. Dialogue comes across the center channel with good clarity and the modern music turns on the LFE channel and providing nice bass.  There is some ambient noises that make use of the front and rear speakers as well.
