Warner Bros. releases It Happened at the World’s Fair as part of the Archive Collection program. This being a cheerful musical romantic comedy with Elvis the colors is bright and vibrant, having a nice pop showing off the 1960s-era style and locales. Detail is sharp and very well defined throughout and I did not notice any signs of aliasing, artifacting or any other film damage making it another solid transfer from Warner. The disc comes equipped with a very nice and well rounded DTS-HD Master Audio Mono track. Although this is only a singular track, there is some good depth and the clarity for the Elvis musical numbers comes across clearly and with discernible pops, hisses or other signs of degradation. |
