ABOUT THESE RELEASES

RLJ has re-released 6 TV movies based off of Agatha Christie’s books obviously to tie into the new Murder on the Orient Express adaptation. Each volume contains three movies:

Volume One:

  • And Then There Were None — On the brink of WWII, 10 strangers are invited to an isolated island — and by the end of the night, the first of them is dead.
  • Five Little Pigs — Fourteen years after Caroline Crate is executed for murdering her husband, Lucy Crate asks Poirot to prove her mother’s innocence.
  • Death on the Nile — Poirot intervenes when a jilted woman harasses a newlywed couple, but their honeymoon river cruise turns deadly nonetheless.

Volume Two:

  • The Witness for the Prosecution — When a heiress is brutally murdered, all the evidence points to her young lover. But he insists to his solicitor that his wife can prove his innocence.
  • Three Act Tragedy — After guests at successive dinner parties mysteriously drop dead, Poirot teams up with an old friend to find the killer.
  • Hallowe’en Party — Crime novelist Ariadne calls Poirot to investigate the macabre murder of a young girl at a children’s costume party.
