A Bad Moms Christmas was a bit of a chore to even sit through, not so much that none of the humor landed but one character that was absolutely obnoxious and really could’ve been the film’s antagonist than somebody I could actually care about.

I hated Movie 43. I didn’t find the jokes particularly funny – and mind you, I don’t mind crude/rude humor – nor was it very controversial. Instead this looked more like a college film project with a higher budget and one which was made for insiders rather than a larger audience. Interestingly enough, at the premiere, Seann William Scott apparently was the biggest name of the cast to show up which says a lot when the others, even in their small roles, didn’t even bother attending.
“Gossip Girl” is a fun tween soap opera with various storylines which help keep the attention span even when the episodes can sometimes sputter. The DVD itself offers up good video and audio transfers and a decent set of features, though it’s still fairly light and only worth one viewing. Given the price, and assuming you’re a fan, this fifth season is worth it.
GOSSIP GIRL: THE COMPLETE THIRD SEASON
Failure after failure. That’s the motto for season 3. It’s tough to even find anything here worthwhile to comment on, because I’m honestly stumped how Josh Schwartz could have let the show get so stupid and boring.
ONE TREE HILL: THE COMPLETE SEVENTH SEASON
Season seven continues on with a selection of great episodes…along with some poor ones. But overall I was once again entertained by the misadventures these twenty-something year olds get into and wonder why my life is so boring and tame.
Please do yourself a favor and skip this release. It bombed at the box office and rightfully so – it’s not funny, it’s not romantic, and the two leads have no chemistry. I was hoping Sylar (from “Heroes”) would come along and slice her head open, but sadly which the cancellation of that show it looks like he’s off doing other things.
