The Raven Blu-ray Review
The Raven has some interesting scenes and features fine performances from John Cusack, Alice Eve and, to a lesser extent, Luke Evans (but mainly because the character merely chases down leads).
247°F Blu-ray Review
247°F has its moments and the performance from Scout Taylor-Compton – who I hope continues to rise as she is a talented young actress – saves the film from being a complete dud. This isn’t going to be for everybody but I suppose if you enjoyed Open Water, it might be up your alley, and otherwise it’s at best a rental.
Big Top Scooby-Doo! Blu-ray Review
Big Top Scooby-Doo is probably in the middle of the pack compared with the other recent direct-to-video Scooby releases. The voice talents are the highlights to go along with a story that at least didn’t telestrate who the villain(s) is/were.
Masters of the Universe Blu-ray Review
Masters of the Universe is a silly movie that seems to be better regarded today than it was back in 1987. The visual effects at times is lame, the acting fairly substandard save for Frank Langella and the story is fairly thin, though given the source material (a toy line and cartoon series), one has to give credit to the writer for doing his best.
Dave Blu-ray Review
Dave is a nice movie filled with fine performances from Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver. Sure, it’s predictable and more than outlandish in its premise (bit of a stretch that he looks exactly like the President), but it’s one I’ve had fun watching throughout the years.

Pet Sematary never was one of my favorite movies but I suppose to some of the other Stephen King adaptations, it’s one of the better releases.

Queen of the Damned is a fine movie that had the potential to be far better. The performance from Stuart Townsend wasn’t bad though hardly memorable while Aaliyah wasn’t impressive but in fairness, her character was limited and had little to work with.
Katy Perry: Part of Me Blu-ray Review
In spite of a lack of special features, this Katy Perry: Part of Me release is worth picking up especially if you’re a fan of her work. It offers some insight into her life although while watching it does seem one is still kept at arm’s length in really knowing her.
Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures Blu-ray Review
The Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures is a great set for fans of the franchise. Each of the film’s 1080p HD transfer is amazing to go along with the lossless DTS-HD Master Audio tracks. The only drawback is that features from the previous releases, including Kingdom of the Crystal Skull were not ported over.

Bait Blu-ray Review
The front cover for Bait might make it look like another generic poorly CGI’d director-to-video monster flick, but I enjoyed this; it’s a mixture of Jaws meets The Poseidon Adventure with some adequate visual effects (better than anything on SyFy), fun thrills and just an all around enjoyable film.
The Game: Criterion Collection Blu-ray Review
in spite of the issues I had with the story and the luck the main character had to have in order to even survive, The Game still is an entertaining movie with some fine performances to go along with excellent direction from David Fincher and cinematography by Harris Savides.
