Angel of Mine is a mixed bag, though I tilt it towards being worthy of a rental as the performances from both Rapace and Strahovski were top-notch and most of the film was a masterstroke of great character-driven psychological suspense-thriller.

The Handmaid’s Tale: Season One BD

No Escape is an all around entertaining film perfect for a Saturday movie night. No, it doesn’t make you think or have any profound performances but the acting isn’t bad with Owen Wilson serving as a fine everyman type of character and Pierce Brosnan in his small part is a lot of fun. This is probably worthy of a rental.

Batman: Bad Blood Blu-ray Review

Batman: Bad Blood is a fine entry in DC’s Animated Universe and although it’s not as strong as some others, it’s still entertaining, a lot of fun to watch and at less than 80-minutes, a breeze to get through yet still feel satisfied by the end.

I, Frankenstein Blu-ray Review

I, Frankenstein is not only dumb movie but worse of all, takes itself far too seriously so you take something that could’ve been a fun little ride into a dark and dank film that instead is forgettable in nearly every regard save for Bill Nighy who is perhaps the only good thing in this mess of a film.
