I can respect Rob Zombie and his zest for the original 1960s series and while some elements weren’t terrible, namely the costumes, makeup and production design, the script (also by Zombie) and humor fell flat making for an arduous time to sit through.
Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced the Steelbook release of Rob Zombie’s 31 which stars Sheri Moon Zombie, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs and Malcolm McDowell.
3 From Hell is the latest from Rob Zombie and personally (though didn’t wholly mind his Halloween remake), I’m not the biggest fan of his, though certainly acknowledge he does have a unique style to his movies.
31 is another below average horror movie from Rob Zombie though the opening sequence with a creepy ass performance from Robert Brake at least was memorable, shame the movie wasn’t about his psychotic clown character.
