Gemini Man 4K Ultra HD & Blu-ray Review

Gemini Mann is an expensive gimmick movie and once you strip away the technological element, and try to ignore the distraction of the frame rate, the plot is something that could be straight out of an episode of Jack Ryan.

10 Cloverfield Lane + BD Screen Caps

10 Cloverfield Lane is a strong sci-fi thriller that, even though it’s been many years since I last saw it, equals the original and had the added bonus of not being in the found footage style and features better characters. I’m not sure how well this will hold up in the long run however but at the moment I found it to be thoroughly entertaining.

Review: The Hollars BD + Screen Caps

The Hollars is a well made family drama-comedy with several great performances but none better than Margo Martindale who is a true delight and should get an Oscar nomination out of this role. John Krasinski is a fine actor and is in his element with this material and as a director, isn’t flashy and lets the acting do the talking.

A Good Day to Die Hard Blu-ray Review

A Good Day to Die Hard is an all around poor excuse of an action movie. Yes, some movies can rely loud explosions and insane action set pieces but those other films were not culled from the Die Hard name. The Fast and Furious franchise can get away with it because frankly, and no disrespect, they’ve never had the most clever or intense storylines and even characters. The Blu-ray at least is top notch even if the movie was not.
