Bachelor in Paradise: Warner Archive Collection Blu-ray Review

Bachelor in Paradise is a fine, if not forgettable, 1961 romantic-comedy with many of the old fashioned plotlines and characters you’d expect. Bob Hope was okay while Lana Turner had her moments.

Review: The Sea Chase BD + Screen Caps

While The Sea Chase is an interesting viewpoint for WWII following the German side, it was utterly distracting seeing someone like John Wayne trying to pass himself off as a German captain, not even bothering with a fake German accent.

Review: Peyton Place BD + Screen Caps

Peyton Place is a well acted and finely made atypical 1950s era drama based on a controversial book. This Blu-ray released through Twilight Time offers up good video and audio transfers and an okay amount of bonus material.
