Stagecoach: The Texas Jack Story is hardly a great western, in fact it’s a movie filled with a bunch of western clichés and some so-so acting by lead Trace Adkins. Still, there’s a moderate amount of entertainment if only to see Judd Nelson as an outlaw.

Review: Private Number DVD

Private Number is just the latest in a long line of cheap DVD releases destined for the cheap bin at Wal-Mart and even then it’s not worth that kind of money. It’s a shame as there was some good elements bogged down by bad writing and a really stupid third act and it’s another movie with Tom Sizemore being prominently displayed on the cover but having little to do with the plot.

The Breakfast Club: 30th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray Review

Double dips isn’t anything new from studios and no doubt this 30th Anniversary Edition of The Breakfast Club is no different where what’s different from the release five years might not be enough to warrant a purchase if you already own that version. However, at a good price, the upgrade to a new video codec from the original 35MM film print might make it worthwhile.

Nurse Blu-ray Review

I understand Nurse 3-D is B-movie schlock and all but there are too many flaws to ignore, most of all a lead actress who is utterly terrible with flat line deliveries hard to disregard even with a script containing some truly corny dialogue. On the plus side, Katrina Bowden is wonderful and even though I didn’t care for the movie, it’s hardly the worst I’ve come across and the 80-minute running time goes by like a breeze.

Review: Endure DVD

Endure is a finely directed thriller with a good performance from Judd Nelson, thick stache and all, but the story itself is far too simplistic that it would’ve been better suited for a television series like “Criminal Minds” or “CSI”. I also had a problem with some of the behind-the-scenes decisions between the choppy editing and an overbearing and, at times, needless score during some key scenes.
