Wind River is easily the best movie I’ve seen over the past few years, though admittedly I gravitate more toward slow-burn crime-dramas and it’s a great follow-up to Hell or High Water and is an excellent directorial debut for Taylor Sheridan.

Review: Hell or High Water BD + Screen Caps
Hell or High Water was one of the bigger surprises of a downtrodden 2016 and while I don’t think it’s perfect, as a character-driven, modern-day Western, it is fantastic with performances by Jeff Bridges, Ben Foster and Chris Pine (in that order).
