Trading Places Blu-ray Review

Trading Places still holds up after all this time and following several viewings both on disc and on television over the years. It’s a bit on the nose at times and especially some clichés, yet the dynamic between Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd was wonderful.

The House That Dripped Blood Blu-ray + Screen Caps

The House That Dripped Blood is a fun enough anthology movie that is mostly entertaining seeing this cast which includes Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, Denholm Elliott and Jon Pertwee, even if they’re not all in the same scenes together.

September is the latest Woody Allen movie to get the Blu-ray treatment from Twilight Time and as a drama, it’s not the best from the legendary filmmaker but the acting is quite good and some of the writing is sharp.

Maurice Blu-ray Review

Maurice is a finely crafted, socially relevant and fantastically acted drama based on the novel by E.M. Forster, namely James Wilby and Hugh Grant. The Blu-ray released through Cohan Media Group offers up excellent video and audio transfers and a nice selection of bonus features.
