Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid is a send-up of the 1930s/40s film noir starring Steve Martin (who co-scripted with director Carl Reiner) and Rachel Ward. The Blu-ray was released by Kino Lorber on September 21st.
The Jerk: 40th Anniversary Edition is a fine release from Shout Factory. The movie itself is hilarious and showed why Steven Martin became a big star and for the most part, the jokes did landed.
Sibling Rivalry is a quirky fun, if not also forgettable, 1990s comedy with a semi-impressive cast of who’s who of that era. While the plot doesn’t work and performances that aren’t always the best, it’s still one of those watchable flicks that you probably won’t regret afterward yet have little interest in re-visiting anytime soon.
