Supergirl might not be some misunderstood movies of the 1980s and indeed it is at times pretty awful, particularly in terms of the cheap production design, bad dialogue and nonsensical moments, and yet the movie has its charms, most notably Helen Slater.
I won’t go as far and say Tag was some sort of classic comedy in the making and the character development is on the thin side, yet I did manage to consistently laugh from beginning to end.
It’s rather amazing Supernatural has made through 13 seasons with the fourteenth coming. It’s never quite been my cup of tea but certainly has some entertaining moments thanks to the two leads in Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles.

Diamonds of Kilimanjaro is a poorly made yet still incredibly captivating for how bad the movie was with some questionable acting and the cheap production value, at least the ladies don’t look too bad.

Autumn in New York is your run-of-the-mill romance-drama that you’ve seen before and has been done over the years since and although both Richard Gere and Winona Ryder give solid performances, neither shared great chemistry with the other.

Streets of Vengeance is a fun homage to 1980s revenge films and given you do have a cast with little experience, and the budget itself was something like $8k, I was rather impressed.

The Walking Dead never was must-watch television for me and going on eight seasons, although it is certainly entertaining and engaging, I can’t say I’ll really watch it live nor do I find myself deeply invested with these characters, though the acting generally is strong.

Gloria is a well done even sweet crime-drama where you can see why Gena Rowlands earned her Best Actress Academy Award nomination and the young John Adames, in his one and only role, does a nice job.
Truth or Dare is a really ridiculous game to make into a horror movie to begin with, but having it done twice is so dumb. That being said, and perhaps I’m grading on a curve comparing it to the other movie, I found this one passably entertaining.
Blast is a dumb 1997 action-thriller that had the potential to be the right kind of ‘bad’ movie and instead it was just plain bad, from the poor acting, the terrible writing (both in terms of story and dialogue) to the direction.
Book Club is a fun and well acted comedy-drama featuring four wonderful performances from its leads Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen, and a respectable supporting cast.
Bleeding Steel is one of the more perplexing movies I’ve come across in the last couple of years, one that is rife for anyone to riff amongst friends or, if you’re a Jackie Chan fan, does have some decent fight choreography.

Upgrade was one of the better surprise sci-fi movies of 2018 and although I can’t rank it up there with the sometimes equally disturbing, and cautionary, Ex Machina, I still enjoyed the hell out of it and by Logan Marshall-Green’s performance.
