With help from a reluctant trainer (SAMUEL L. JACKSON), the underdog must assume the role of fearsome samurai and team up with the felines to save the day. The only problem is — they all hate dogs.

VIDEO – 4½/5, AUDIO – 4½/5

Paramount releases Paws of Fury onto Blu-ray and is presented with a 2.39 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. As with Rumble which I recently posted, this CG animated feature looks good in HD, detail is good throughout and colors are vibrant in keeping with the family-friendly characters and story.

Always odd to me for an animated feature, especially one like this, would receive a Dolby Atmos track, but even so this one does sound quite good with clear dialogue and some of the action or fight sequences show off respectable depth.
