Warner Bros., through their Archive Collection line, the movie is presented in the original 1.37 full frame aspect ratio and given a new 1080p high-definition transfer restored from the nitrate elements. As with most of these Archive Collection releases, this too looks fantastic. Detail is sharp and nicely defined throughout and the black and white aspects are nicely balanced. The disc comes with a very adequate DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Mono track. Dialogue comes across with good clarity and there was no obvious signs of pops, hisses or other damages to the lossless track. |
