Warner Bros. releases There Was a Crooked Man onto Blu-ray through their Archive Collection, presented here in its original 2.35 widescreen aspect ratio and given a new 1080p high-definition transfer. Like most other older films released by the Warner Archive Collection, this too looks great with sharp detail throughout and colors appear to well balanced. The included DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Mono track, also pretty standard for older movies, is fairly impressive. Dialogue comes across with good clarity and there is a bit of depth even with this being a singular track. |
