The Stalking Moon comes to Blu-ray through the Warner Archive Collection, presented in its original 2.35 and looks brilliant in 1080p high-definition with a new transfer for this release. The picture here has excellent blend of colors for the era, detail is quite sharp and nicely defined throughout and best of all, outside perhaps a few minor specs, this is a clean video transfer. The disc includes a standard but very effective DTS-HD Master 2.0 Mono track which outputs clear dialogue and some respectable depth, as singular tracks go, for the more action-y elements, although most of the movie is filled with quieter, dialogue-driven, moments. |
