Agent Cody Banks is hardly a good movie and probably on par with a Disney Original Movie, yet there’s some minor entertainment value and I at least did manage to chuckle a few times (more than I did with Zoolander 2) though the target audience is geared more toward the 12-16 range.

Most of the features were ported over… except for the commentary track for some reason. Director’s Diary (12:39; SD) – This is a behind-the-scenes featurette, the footage narrated over by Harald Zwart who discusses storyboards, pre-viz work and other elements. Developing Agent Cody Banks (4:53; SD) looks at the creation of the picture from the casting of supporting characters, screen tests, production meetings, etc. Deleted Scenes (11:04; SD) – There were a few scenes cut down, likely due to pacing issues. Outtakes (3:11; SD) contain the normal line flubs. Cast Read-Through (4:31; SD) is some footage of the cast reading through the script. Last up we get a couple basic featurettes, one on the Production Design (6:36; SD) and the other on the Music (4:38; SD). |

| Agent Cody Banks debuts on Blu-ray courtesy of Olive Films, presented in its original 2.35 widescreen aspect ratio and given a 1080p high-definition transfer, and although it’s not the cleanest transfer, with some dust marks and specs here and there, colors are at least bright. Detail at least is relatively sharp and for a movie going on 13 years old, and a limited budget, doesn’t look half bad. |

| In a nice surprise, where other Olive releases were given a 2.0 DTS-HD Master Audio track, this one comes with the full 5.1 channels. Dialogue levels sound crisp and clean throughout and when the action starts, it might not be as robust compared with other action movies of its time, there’s at least some OK depth with each channel getting used between the score, ambient noises and numerous explosions through the finale. |
