PLOT SYNOPSIS |
| After her father (TOM SKERRITT) dies, Blue (NINA SIEMASZKO) is forced to grow up fast. Taken in by Elle (WENDY HUGHES), a high-class brothel madam, she discovers a beguiling world of power and pleasure – but also the tightening grip of Elle’s control. To make matters worse, she is falling for Josh (BRENT FRASER), a regular guy who doesn’t know about her double life. Now, if she tells the truth, will she lose him forever? |

Wild Orchid 2 grows onto Blu-ray presented in its original 1.85 widescreen aspect ratio and given a 1080p high-definition transfer. There’s no mentioning on what, if any, restoration work was done but as it stands the picture here looks adequate if not quite amazing. Detail is decent enough while colors are on the darker side of the spectrum. The disc includes a DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 track providing okay dialogue levels while depth was okay albeit not entirely dynamic even by stereo track standards. |
