SEASON SYNOPSIS

Bonnie (ALLISON JANNEY) must learn to adjust now that her daughter has left for law school. With her chaotic past behind her and a newly empty nest, she can focus on her marriage to Adam (WILLIAM FICHTNER) and on what she wants to be now that she’s finally grown up. More than ever, she depends on the unconditional support of her friends from AA, whose lives are also changing: Marjorie (MIMI KENNEDY) has a new beau, Jill (JAIME PRESSLY) is struggling with a relationship in crisis, and Wendy (BETH HALL) has embraced living in the moment. Meanwhile, Bonnie and her foster sister, Tommy (KRISTEN JOHNSTON), embark on a new business venture.

SPECIAL FEATURES – 0/5

This two-disc set comes in a clear keep case however there are no special features.

VIDEO – /5, AUDIO – 3½/5

The show is presented with a 16×9 enhanced 1.78 widescreen aspect ratio which for standard def looks alright with decent colors. Each episode comes with a standard Dolby Digital 5.1 track which provides for okay dialogue, albeit a bit on the heavy side, along with so-so depth for the score and canned laughter.
