VIDEO – 4¾/5, AUDIO – 4¾/5 |
Athena arrives on Blu-ray through the Warner Archive Collection and presented with a 1.75 widescreen aspect ratio and given a new 1080p high-definition transfer. As with most of these Warner titles, the picture looks great, detail throughout is sharp and colors vibrant but still in keeping with the time period. I did not notice any significant flaws like dust marks, specs or scratches. The included DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Stereo track showcases the musical numbers as well as outputting clear dialogue through the right and left speakers. As lossless stereo tracks go, it’s a very well done soundtrack. |
