PLOT SYNOPSIS

For siblings Kip (JOSH HARTNETT) and Josie (MARGARITA LEVIEVA), dealing opioids isn’t just their family business — it’s their only means of survival. When a deal goes fatally wrong, Kip decides he wants out. But Kip’s attempt to escape his family’s legacy ignites a powder keg of violence and betrayal, imperiling Kip, Josie, and their younger brother, Boots (OWEN TEAGUE), in this crime-thriller that builds to a shattering inclusion.

SPECIAL FEATURES – 0/5

VIDEO – 4.25/5

Inherit the Viper comes to Blu-ray, presented with a 2.39 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. The picture here looks quite good, detail is sharp and black levels, for which there is plenty of as a good portion of the movie either takes place at night or in a dank location, is stark with no apparent signs of aliasing or artifacting.

AUDIO – 4.5/5

The DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track isn’t anything overcomplicated, the majority is basically dialogue with some minor depth for the gunplay, otherwise the bulk comes through the center channel with relative clarity with the rear channels mainly being utilized for the score and some minor ambient noises.
