Somewhat of a cult classic at this point, The Guyver is a silly and all around cheesy sci-fi action flick that is no doubt bad but watching it with a group of friends, you can go all out MST3K on it.

VIDEO — 3.5/5, AUDIO — 3.5/5

The Guyver is presented with a 16×9 enhanced widescreen transfer that, even with its limited budget, doesn’t look too bad while the Dolby Digital 5.1 track offers some clear dialogue while any of the action sequences provide some limited depth.

OVERALL – 2.5/5

Overall, somewhat of a cult classic at this point, The Guyver is a silly and all around cheesy sci-fi action flick that is no doubt bad but watching it with a group of friends, you can go all out MST3K on it. For those who didn’t know, like I hadn’t, this didn’t really star Mark Hamill as he doesn’t portray the main character, though it is odd seeing him in such a low budget schlock.
