Midway was a nice surprise as going in didn’t have much of any expectations, but found the action to be well done and features a fine ensemble cast, no one really standing out, and instead the air battles take center stage.
Operation Crossbow isn’t what I’d call a great World War II era film, but still all in all rather well made with a finale that easily outweigh some of the middling scenes that came before. That said, any fan of WWII movies, this is still well worth checking out.
WWII: Behind the Front Lines of the War That Shook the World might not be the best documentary sets out there about the war, yet there is some great information to glean from this and it utilized the archival footage quite nicely.
