Apex Blu-ray Review

Apex is just another poorly made direct-to-video flick with Bruce Willis likely showing up for a day or two, though I will say he at least attempts to give some semblance of a performance instead of the blank expression he often shows in these types of movies.

Cosmic Sin Blu-ray Review

I can’t say Cosmic Sin was a disappointment because I went in with lose expectations which were easily met. This isn’t a fun or entertaining movie to watch with one-dimensional characters and a really thin plot and bland villains.

Mother, May I Sleep with Danger? DVD

The 1996 version of Mother, May I Sleep with Danger? was certainly terrible but oh so entertaining especially the laugh-filled finale, along with the poor acting from beginning to end. I can’t quite say the same for the “re-imagining”

Riverdale: The Complete First Season BD + Screen Caps

Riverdale: The Complete First Season actually was far better than I expected even if some of the teen angst clichés are present, but the cast is mostly likeable with Camila Mendes probably being the standout of the bunch. I commend the writers for this compelling freshman season.

Review: Max 2: White House Hero BD + Screen Caps

Max 2: White House Hero is a safe movie for families and in particular, kids probably 10 and under as the jokes and violence are Disney-esque. No, it’s not very good and if you’re an adult, this might be tough to sit through.
