Airplane remains one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen and has endured the test of time, though probably some jokes would not be looked favorably in today’s climate and a movie like this wouldn’t be allowed to be made today. Still, funny as hell.
Police Squad: The Complete Series might have only lasted six episodes, but it probably was ahead of its time and, for my money, was actually far funnier than the first season of Seinfeld which thankfully NBC stuck with, if only ABC had done the same…
