Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life BD + Screen Caps

Although I didn’t really watch Gilmore Girls when it originally aired, it’s a series that I found somewhat enjoyable on syndication with lively and likeable characters so it is nice seeing them back together in Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is a fun experience of four mini-movies.

Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life is a safe and harmless film mainly for families however for anyone older, the jokes don’t quite land though I’d be lying if I didn’t say it was mildly entertaining.

Review: Joshy BD + Screen Caps

Joshy is a well acted drama-comedy and one should go in knowing it is more drama than comedy but otherwise it’s a bit of a downer film that doesn’t have the best payoff despite the efforts of Thomas Middleditch who does have a few good scenes.

Review: Max BD + Screen Caps

Max is a nice if not forgettable family flick, featuring good performances from the cast including Josh Wiggins, Thomas Haden Church and relative newcomer Mia Xitali. It’s nothing extraordinary and has a bit of the cheese factor in some scenes yet, and in spite of the thematic elements, is well worth watching especially for families as it does highlight an important part of the military.
