Superman: The Movie is a special movie that perhaps the current generation might find a bit hokey in its innocence, but I think it still holds up pretty well, albeit I’m still not a big fan of some of the goofier moments.

Shadow Stalkers DVD

This Shadow Stalkers set is filled with mostly suspense/thriller-horror movies, much not very well known (at least to me) and a couple (Don’t Answer the Phone and Silent Night, Bloody Night) were previously released in another set (“Faces of Horror”) in my own collection.

Superman: The Movie: Extended Cut Blu-ray Review

It is quite the time we live in for media, even if the physical is on the decline, as now after decades where it lived only on the bootleg forum, we finally get to see Superman: The Movie – Extended Cut aka the TV Version, restored in HD and although I’ll be sticking with the other version.

Review: The Rounders BD + Screen Caps

The Rounders is a fun little Western romp starring the two veteran actors, Glenn Ford and Henry Fonda. The Blu-ray released through Warner’s Archive Collection is limited in the features department (only a trailer) but the video and audio transfers are both well done.

Fate is the Hunter Blu-ray Review

Fate is the Hunter is actually a pretty decent film focusing on faith and, obviously, fate, making it something more than merely an overwrought 1960s disaster drama. The performances from Glenn Ford, Nancy Kwan and Rod Taylor are all superb and the effects, save for some wonky editing, were impressive for their time.
